Masturah is largely inspired during her travels. In Nepal, she was overwhelmed by the majesty of God's creations in the form of mountains and lakes, enlighted by the ancient cultures, and humbled by the simplicity of life in the villages. In Bali, she was and continues to be intrigued by the vibrant rituals and traditions of the people, and is relaxed with the naturally artistic environment. While in Japan, she was fired by the culture of perfection and harmony between design and nature.
Back home, her sources of inspiration are her father and late father-in-law, whose struggles and sacrifices have made their contribution to their areas of expertise and society legendary. She is also blessed to have met creative friends dedicated to their craft as she continues her journey.
